Marina View Apartment w/ Dual Balconies — Guest Reviews

Stayed for Orange bowl sailing regatta I had the pleasure of renting this property for the Orange bowl regatta. It was me, my daughter, and her sailing partner. The apartment was immaculate, and awesome views! The location is also perfect for walking around, and safe for teens to make their way to Coral Reef Yacht club. I had a car as well and parking was in a secure garage. We would definitely recommend staying in this VRBO and hope to come back next year!

Beautiful scenery, easy walk to Coconut Grove. This is an amazing condo. The views are breathtaking. Waking up to a view of water and sailboats is a peaceful way to start the morning. In the evening the sunset is breathtaking. The condo is clean and beautifully kept. The half bath really works for not disturbing people in the room. Parking is very easy and convenient. Neighborhood is very safe and easy to walk to Coconut Grove shops. We were traveling with family, this time. However, I told my husband he should bring me back for a romantic trip to condo. Do not hesitate to reserve this location.

Really easy to get in, very easy to get in touch with manager of the apt, excellent view, easy parking and it was spacious enough for our family of 6 Really the only thing that sometimes irritated us was the waiting for the elevator sometimes..... Overall a great place to stay!

Not sanitized for your safety Plastic baggies over remote controls makes you think things are "santized," but beware. When we stepped into the bathtub black came off our feet...from the floors! We wiped the floor with a washcloth and they were filthy. At night, we smelled an electrical smell which freaked us out. The property manager responded and wanted to help, but then we figured out what the smell was...THE VINYL SHADES. When they are put down at night they off-gas vinyl, probably from the heat of the day. The smell was so bad we had to leave the shades up and keep the windows open, so we had to suffer through the ambient light of the city and the accompanying sounds. The next morning they came to "clean," but the smell of the fabuloso cleaner was almost as revolting as the vinyl smell, so we still had to keep windows open for aeration. They provide an espresso maker, but the cheapest coffee pods, so it tastes like water. The sofa bed was painful for the children, and we couldn't get the TV to work. The location was close to shopping and good food, so there's that.

Convenient and Gorgeous Had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for our crew- four adults and two young children. The views were amazing. Perfect location to many shops and restaurants. A huge bonus for us was the children’s park across the street. Kids had a blast playing while us adults sat at the restaurant that overlooked the area. This was a great spot to relax after our cruise. The location to the airport was also convenient.

ARYA Hotel and booking The view was beautiful, but the cleanliness was not up to standard. There was an odor when you walked in the front door, the floors were dirty to walk on (from the first evening we arrived) and there was mold in the master bathroom and kitchen vents. The AC was running but the humidity in the rooms was high and it seemed the vents may be clogged. Three of my family members were stuffy and sneezing every time we entered the property and continued to have breathing issues while there, that would clear up while we were gone during the day. There were issues with the elevators the entire stay and only one appeared to be working. It was also very disappointing that the pool was not open, as that was one of the things we were most looking forward to and had packed and prepared for.

Returning to the U This is a perfect place for families bringing their kids back to college. We had a two bedroom condo that was perfect for our family. Beautiful views, clean, fantastic location in coconut grove and enough space to spread out. It’s a quick drive to the university.

Moving my son into U of Miami Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with incredible views! Super comfortable beds and updated baths. Kitchen has everything that you’ll need. We will stay again !

Fantastic view and beautiful condo We loved staying in 1518 Sonesta The condo is beautifully furnished and immaculate. The harbor views are spectacular during day & night. The swimming pool is a treat for our granddaughter with an excellent pool side restaurant. Laura our site manager was gracious and helpful if we had questions about the condo. Truly a five star place to stay. This was our fifth stay at Sonesta, the best place to stay in Coconut Grove. We hope to return many times and stay at Sonesta 1518 condo. Thank you, Laura for making our stay pleasant.

¡El apartamento perfecto: hermoso, con vistas impresionantes! Conocemos bien la zona y nos gusta su tranquilidad y los paseos junto al mar. Escogimos este apartamento por sus fotos pero no estábamos seguros de haber tomado la mejor decisión. En total nos quedamos 10 días y nuestra hija nos acompañó el fin de semana. A todos nosotros nos fascinó el apartamento. Mi hija quiso conocer a la decoradora, Natalia, y ella tuvo la amabilidad de explicarnos cuál fue su criterio para decorarlo. Lo cierto es que la entrada es sencillamente espectacular y las vistas son…no tengo palabras, diga lo que diga no voy a poder hacerle justicia a esas imágenes que se me han quedado grabadas en la retina. Todo lo demás fue estupendo, incluyendo el tiempo (supongo que eso ayuda), y pasando por el personal del hotel. Un diez.

Excelente lo rentamos para año nuevo y la experiencia fue espectacular, estuvo muy cómodo y la vista es simplemente increíble desde la terraza pudimos ver todos los fuegos artificiales de la ciudad y fue un momento maravilloso.

Disappointed! We booked a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit for two days but upon arrival and walking into the unit we noticed it was only a one bedroom 1 bath unit. We contacted the owner and she first told us that we only booked a 1 bedroom 1 bath unit which I kindly told her that I had proof that I booked a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. I was asked to wait so she could check our reservation. When she got back to us she told me that her calendar did not sync and that the room next door which was part of the unit we rented was already reserved by another couple. I told her this was unexceptable which she replied that the best she could do was to refund the difference between a 1 bedroom unit and a 2 bedroom unit and also provide a cot for our guests to sleep on. I was furious that she made us go back and forth with her for a good hour and a half until I finally put my foot down and told her that the other party should be the one to give up the room since I booked this way in advance. She finally messaged us back and said that since the other party had not yet arrived that we could go a head and take the other one bedroom. It was a horrible way to start our 4th of July. Weekend ! As far as the apartment the furnishings were IKEA so couch was not that comfortable. Also no dish towels. The view was amazing but be careful leaning on the railing on the patio balcony we notice our hands and clothes had white sticky paint on them after leaning on the railing.

NYE stay The apartment looks exactly like the photos (gorgeous), the location is incredible, and the hosts were very open and communicative. 10/10 experience

Thanksgiving Get-together Prefect in everyway!

Great Location We had a group of 4 friends stay at this property for an extended weekend. This was a great property and location. The room was very nice with great amenities. Nice pool area and good size fitness. The unit was walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops in the Coconut Grove area. Only 20 minutes from the airport.

weekend regatta Perfect location for myself and crew, age 60+, to relax, sleep and be safe after a long day on the water.

Beautiful corner unit with views that made me want to live there. We love Coconut Grove - the shops, the restaurants, the vibe. The Sonesta is always our choice as it’s a combination of hotel and condos with a pool and restaurant. And the staff is great. There were 4 of us and the condo was perfect. The laundry room was a great surprise. The host provided coffee, toiletries, water and a bottle of wine! We’ll miss the sunrises out the bedroom windows and sitting on the balconies to start the day.

Clean.......Great Views.......Very comfy ! Four of us rented a 2 BR -- 2 Bath unit in the Sonesta in Coconut Grove for a week. The unit was very spacious......super clean......and had fantastic views. We plan to rent from them again in the future -- and you should too !!

Granddaughter's Second Birthday Love this building! Great views in the heart of charming Coconut Grove. This is a lovely corner unit with 2-1/2 baths. Really great for two couples or family members. Nice pool and nice staff. My 3rd or 4th stay here and they have all been great.

MIAMI Bday trip The property was very beautiful and the host and team were very friendly and on point. If any problem occurred they fixed it as fast as they could. Great team and beautiful place.

Great location! Beautiful views! Wrap around balcony to watch sunrises and sunsets every day! Convenient location next to cafes, boutiques, and the pier! The unit had 2 rooms and was perfect for 2 couples!

Best view in Coconut Grove Fantastic property with breathtaking views. The apartment overlooking the bay was absolutely stunning. My wife and I enjoyed breakfast on the balcony each and every morning. Amazing restaurants are only a short walk away, or an elevator ride to the eighth floor. Nothing short of amazing!!!

This property is amazing if you want to wake up in paradise! Views are beautiful and property is clean and well kept. Walking distance to outstanding restaurants in Coconut Grove. But no need to pay for happy hour cocktails at restaurants when you can have them on the patio here with the bay views! I will be booking again!

Beautiful condos in the fun, safe location We rented several units in this building to accommodate a large group of family dropping off a UM student. All of the condos were modern, well-furnished, clean with great views. We had a wonderful visit. My only area of improvement would be for the pool to be open longer hours and for the check in process to be easier (a bit arduous to prevent fraud). Owners Natalia and Silvia were easy and attentive to our needs. Thank you Ladies!

Secret gem Condo exceeded expectations. For the price really felt like I was given a huge discount. Views are breathtaking. Definitely will try booking again whenever I'm in Miami.

Exceptional This property was just perfect for a girls trip. There was plenty of room for 6 to sleep very comfortably. The unit looks brand new and was spotless. Having a well equipped kitchen was wonderful and a perfect place to whip up some fancy drinks to enjoy while overlooking the beautiful view of the bay. There is no need for a car as there is fun shopping and amazing restaurants all within walking distance. The beach is just a short Uber or taxi ride away, but not needed when the pool/restaurant/staff was so amazing. Looking forward to visiting again!

The apartment was in a great location and within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. The pool at the hotel was a great added bonus and the views from both the balcony in the apartment and pool area were spectacular. The apartment was cleaned to a very high standard and very spacious with everything we needed for our week in Miami. The host was very responsive and friendly. We would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

I was a very pleasant stay, we booked 8 days in this beautiful apartment and enjoyed every one of those days. The Host kept good communication throughout the whole process, honestly 10/10 would recommend.

The view is spectacular, just like in the pictures. The only thing we found we did not like was the neighborhood noise. Not really the property's fault, but a factor.

Nice and clean apartment Clean and well planned apartment in a good location. The apartment is a few years old, so somewhat worn but functional. Comfortable beds. Ok kitchen with what is needed. Large bathrooms with older bathtubs. Good pool area with heated pool. In total we were satisfied and recommend the apartment.

Our Stay We enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the wonderful views from our condo. The location was perfect for us, being walking distance from restaurants, shopping and the movies.

Clean -- We wish: 1) the living room and kitchen are bigger. 2) you renovate the master bath room (at least: the bathroom vanity cabinet & sink to make it look more modern). 3) The pool was closed too early. Need to open until at least 10pm -- Nice balcony. Clean rooms. Good communication. It's hard to park inside the yellow spot (too small). -- We intend to come back again. Thank you.

Hotel Arya- corner suite Space was as lovely as the photos show. Property manager greeted us, then checked in via telephone during our visit to make sure the facilities and our trip were working well. Restaurants locally were higher end. No local grocery store nor mid-range/fast-food restaurants were within walking distance.

Lovely Weekend Stay We enjoyed a great stay with beautiful views. The surrounding area is very walkable with great restaurants and shopping. Tjhe owner is wonderful to work with and was attentive to make sure our stay was comfortable. We will stau again soon.

Stunning View The view was amazing and the location could not have been more perfect. It is actually two suits for maximum privacy and convenience. Everything you need is in walking distance. From shopping to restaurants and bars. Everyone at the hotel and the property manager were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant inside the hotel was under construction and there was no room service but there was another restaurant right next door. We only received one free parking pass but there were public parking options and Valet. Overall I would highly recommend this fabulous property.

The most incredible view! We couldn’t get enough of the view from our bedroom, and we even left the blinds up so that we could catch the rising sun rays. The property was clean, parking was easy, truly enjoyable.

Great location and comfortable condo Couldn't ask for a better location. If you want to be in the Grove, this is a perfect place to stay. The condo itself is comfortable, though it needs a little help - ceiling was leaking, wear and tear, etc. The building is nice and is safe.

Nice Condo, hostile mgmnt company Check in was a nightmare. I was there a little early but was told to wait til 4 to pay balance , that paying online with vrbo was not an option. No one came. I was given a key but they needed balance payment to go through them not vrbo . After 3 hours of waiting I had to leave but the mgr decided to bang on my door furiously at night as I’m rushing to go out, and sent hostile texts as if I was trying to not pay. He threatened me that I would be kicked out even after I told them I would be available 2-5:30 to pay in person or anytime by phone. They refused by phone. Other than this stressful day , and the broken loud AC , it was a pretty unit.

Very nice property The checkin and communication went smoothly. The condo was very nice and the views were amazing. We had a slight problem that we reported to the property manager that was corrected promptly. Great area with plenty of shops and restaurants a short walk away. I would consider staying again the next time we visit the area.

Great beautiful location! Getting to location was a bit confusing since I didn’t realize that it was a hotel but that in me. I was looking for a condo like location but this worked. Also wen contacting customer give them specific instructions on where to park and the process and perhaps a brochure of things to do in Miami and how to navigate the remote controls to the TVs.

Beautiful Miami Views The apartment was very clean and had very beautiful views of the Marina and Ocean. Very safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants to choose from. We loved this place!!

Beautiful Condo! We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful condo! The views are spectacular and the location is so convenient. We walked to the Groove for dinner and drinks and ran each morning down around the Harbor and in the parks. This is our 3rd time staying at this location and we just LOVE it! The staff who manage this property were wonderful to work with and the garage parking pass was a plus!! Thank you for such a fantastic stay!

Lovely Sonesta condo We stayed here for 5 nights during the Miami Open. Couldn't have made a better choice. This was our 5th consecutive year coming to the tournament and the first we didn't stay in a hotel. Was a great decision. The kitchen was well equipped, having room to spread out was nice and the views were absolutely amazing from the bedrooms and living room. Coconut Grove is great. We went for runs in the mornings and the surrounding parks and neighborhoods are gorgeous. There are many good restaurants within an easy walk. I highly recommend this unit for anyone staying in the area.

This is a wonderful property with a stunning view of Biscayne BAy We really enjoyed our long weekend at this condo. It was clean, well appointed, nicely furnished, and came with parking garage access. The views from the wrap around exterior balcony were amazing. The people who manage this property were very attentive and helpful throughout the long weekend. We would love to stay here again.

The property was true to the pictures! We had a wonderful experience here. We loved the property as well as it's outdoor space to sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The Sonesta hotel is very nice with a great rooftop pool and restaurant. Coconut grove is a really nice area with lots of restaurants and shopping walking distance away. We would definitely rent this property again.

Great stay in Miami Went to Miami for a few days to enjoy the weather. The Condo was very nicely remodeled with comfortable beds roomy bathrooms. The two balconies afforded great views of the bay, the marina, and the coastline. We especially liked the pool which was very clean and never overcrowded . We used the kitchen for some breakfasts and a lunch. All the appliances were new. The location was great, with dining, shopping and the marina within easy walking distance. We ate at different restaurants every night, and they were all good
